Fantastic photograph!
Thanks Candy, everyone I showed it to laughed and said the butterfly looked like an alien, hence the caption!
Beautiful.
Hi Janice, this butterfly was one of a group of whites but it looked different to the rest with an especially ethereal quality. [I have posted myself a reminder to put the award you so kindly gave to me onto my awards page; I never meant to leave it for so long.]
Wow! I’ve never seen a silver butterfly. Beautiful photo, Lynne!
Thanks Jill. There was an almost luminous quality to this one, the others flying with it looked cream by comparison and their markings were the usual dark colour rather than this silvery grey. Hope you are having a good weekend.
WOW…
I think this is the best “pose” I have captured so far; lots of the other shots were more “move to trash” than WOW!
Beautiful, vivid photography.
Thank you Marylin. The marjoram was covered in winged creatures that afternoon and I spent a very happy 20 minutes taking photographs; this was my favourite.
